Anne Marie Crosswell

Jack Paper Co. is Anne Marie Crosswell’s custom social stationery line. Though Anne Marie has always created in her free time, after practicing law and then finding inspiration in the many gorgeous, personal invitations she opened as her friends were married, she launched Jack Paper Co.

The business began with a friend who was an architect, from whom Anne Marie learned the basics of graphic design. A deep drive to learn the trade coupled with her natural enthusiasm for dreaming up invitations, stationery and unique branding has kept clients coming back to Jack Paper Co. for their paper and graphics needs.

More than anything, Anne Marie truly loves combining patterns and colors to make her designs stand out. She also loves sharing in the creative process with her clients to help set the tone for life’s most important moments and events.

Anne Marie lives in Columbia, S.C., where she grew up. She and her husband Edward have two kids, Grady and Louise. And what would Jack Paper Co. be without Izzy, her family’s Jack Russell Terrier? She truly believes that the time spent with her family and her work designing beautiful papers for life’s special occasions is the ultimate gift.

Sullivan Barreto

Sullivan Barreto is Jack Paper Co's amazing in-house illustrator. Her beautiful illustrations truly transform Jack paper products into the charming masterpieces that they are!

When she is not illustrating, Sullivan works as an interior designer for her own business, E Sullivan Designs, located in Greenville, South Carolina.

Sullivan graduated from Wofford College with a B.A. in Business Economics, and continued her education at The Art Institute of Charleston, earning a B.F.A. in Interior Design. While in Charleston, she worked as an intern designer at both Nicole Norris Design Studio and McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture.

Upon her relocation back to her hometown of Greenville, Sullivan began work as an Associate Designer at Dalton Interiors until deciding that it was time to begin the journey of opening her own interior design business in 2018.  Sullivan currently lives in Greenville with her husband, Bobby, their daughter Libby, and Goldendoodle, Hank.

fun fact

we are family

While they are not too far apart by age, Anne Marie is Sullivan's aunt, by marriage! Anne Marie's husband, Edward, was born when Sullivan's mom, Suzanne, was a freshman in college. As Anne Marie says, "While I am the older one, Sullivan is much more like a sister to me than a niece! Getting to work with her is such a gift; project after project her talent never ceases to amaze me."

Who is jack?

Jack Paper Co. owes it's name to the many beloved Jack Russell Terriers Anne Marie's family has had over the years: Lucy, Lee, Rosie Moon, and Izzy. All quirky in their own way- be it a love of chasing blue racquetballs in the backyard or a ferocious barker at squirt bottles of any sort - these four legged friends are as special and unique as the paper goods created by their namesake.

The extra mile

Going the extra mile is the name of the Jack Paper Co. game, and it's why I see so many clients returning for design work year after year. Have stationery for a newborn that you love? Let's turn that design into calling cards or gift inserts for the busy birthday party years. Have a design in mind and need a little help pulling it all together? Jack Paper Co. works closely with our talented in-house illustrator who can bring to life whimsical, personal graphics for your invitation. Thanks, Mom!

Because my mom always says one should write a thank you note for a gift as simple as a single stick of gum, I've had a lot of practice writing them over the years. I love being able to provide the platform for beautiful letters, just in case a friend offers you a stick of gum.

It's great to create

On a childhod trip to the mountains, I snuck away to create two wreaths to put on the front door when our guests arrived later that day. Finally emerging from the garage after being gone for hours, my mom looked at me with a smile and said, "you are your happiest when you are creating." This is true, and it always has been. Tweaking details until we reach perfection is my happy place time and time again.

Art of the party

I grew up in a party house. Whether it was a spaghetti supper for the soccer team or a Christmas party for the masses, our home was ususally bustling with people celebrating joyous occasions. Maybe it is the memory of the way my childhood home looked in candlelight or the wonderful sound of deep laughter only old friends can evoke, then and now the art of throwing a party always leaves me with a special feeling. Knowing that Jack Paper Co. designs paper for your life's most joyous occasions gives me that same excitement.
